Construction Account Manager Wellington



EDL Fasteners NZ is a market leader for the supply and distribution of industrial fasteners. We are renowned for 'Holding it Together' for New Zealand within the Industrial, Construction and Engineering space since 1974.

We have a great opportunity for a highly motivated sales professional to join our team.  As a Construction Account Manager based at our Lower Hutt branch, you will be responsible for growing and managing key customers whilst developing new clients across the Wellington region.  This is a challenging and rewarding position which will require someone who is confident, personable and passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

To be successful in the role you will need:

  • Construction and building industry knowledge
  • Sales and account management experience
  • Effective communication/relationship building skills
  • Competitive drive, able to work autonomously and comfortable with cold calling
  • A clean driver's licence, able to pass a police check and a pre-employment drug test
  • A great attitude, sense of humour and be able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
